Predictions as to how the AZ team will fare in the 04 girls group? Some tough CA teams there.

    The teams playing are:

    BH Shank
    Sereno Chelsea White
    SC del Sol Lester

This could be interesting with the new birth year changes. A lot of BH 04 Chapman players from last year's team have 2003 birth years...so the what is the depth at BH 04's now?

Most of the Sereno 04's last year have 2003 birth years and the Sereno 05's were not very strong last year. I can't see the Sereno 04 team being very strong this year.

Del Sol Lester might do decent in the tournament. They kept some of their 04's from last year and picked up some good Sereno 04's.

Blues Cup is always hit and miss. AZ teams are just getting back into the swing of things and the CA, NV, UT, etc teams have been going strong all summer. I would be surprised if any of the teams mentioned perform well. It will come down to match ups.

The BH 04s today are definitely not the 04s of last year. That was a pretty good team. The current team has a few from the old 04 team, quite a few from the old 05 team 1 and a decent amount from the old Rush 04 team 1.

Their league game vs CCV this Wed will be their first outing as a team. So like the rest of the AZ teams in the tournament they will have a bit of a disadvantage vs teams that have played together all summer.

For the 04 bracket at Blues, none of the Az teams made it out of the pool play. BH and Del Sol each won a single game and lost 2 games. Sereno 04's lost all three games (not even a single goal).
