Is this a serious question? There is no way an ECNL team should lose to any of the teams listed.

Do you really believe this team is that much better than they were last year? ECNL patch does not give them magical powers, I also found it interesting that the schedulers kept this team away from Farwest and Desert Elite, atleast in bracket play. And if you seriously believe that this will be a cake walk for them, then it looks like an ECNL team will be playing pointless games with no scouts around, I guess its how they get the bench warmers padding the bank account some playing time?

Sereno is the most successful AZ club EVER. They were chosen to be ECNL because of their past excellence and current developmental excellence. It would be hard to imagine the best AZ club, with 11 new best players, losing to the lower end State League teams.

Ok, I got it, your sarcasm is excellent. LOL!

  6. Rumor has it, that the Sereno 01's have had another one of the holdover team quit. Lack of playing time.

did the rumor mention where she is going

  8. No, but they only have 5 of the holdovers left on team.

Rumor has it she was guaranteed a starting spot on the Blackhawks 01 team.

any idea how all these moves impact rosters for state cup. It's my understanding the players had to be on the roster by 11/1?

No denying your top statement. Bottom of statement false, anyone can win any given day. But, Sereno shouldn't lose and is better team.

Still waiting to hear how Del Sol earned the patch. They weren't winning because Sereno was...

Teams always skirt this rule, why AYSA let's it happen; I have no clue....

BH's probably don't care about State. They need to finish top 2 at FWRL or finish strong in National League to keep a spot. They do that and you might see more ECNL players heading to BH's.

With that said, what does that tell you about the Blackhawks talent. A player that quits and ECNL team because she gets no minutes and is guaranteed a starting position with the Blackhawks.

If any of it is true, it could just mean a 22 girl roster at U14 does not foster the enjoyment of playing soccer. I have no idea what girl is in question but no one should assume she's not talented enough to play or start.

Tells me nothing. Maybe has a lot of talent but doesn't practice well, coach doesn't like her, coach doesn't like her parents...list could go on. Her talent shouldn't be a question, she's on an ECNL roster and they have "all the best talent in state".

BH's in my opinion a truly taking ECNL clubs head on. National League is their ace in the hole. They now have the alternative to ECNL at the highest nonECNL level. Well played by them.

Getting ready to point out the same thing. BH doesn't have a 22 player roster. They have a great team by AZ standards. A great coach by AZ standards. They have great team chemistry. What's not to like? Lack of ECNL? Maybe not a big deal to some players or parents. Is the "rumor" even true? If coming over, is it because of "promised" playing time? I find it hard to believe that would be implied if the presumed player weren't starter material. How would that benefit anyone?

You guys take the BH 01 team too lightly. They are the State Champs, lost a few players, picked up a few players, mostly a wash. They had one loss in fourgames at NL. Last game, got down 2-0 first half, d0minated the second half, some unlucky shots, lose 3-1. Believe me, you want and need a viable non-ECNL team here in AZ.

Step further you need a couple viable nonECNL teams in Az and at least one viable ECNL team at each age group. College's will realize an abundance of talent and be at even more games. Each teams success breeds success for all....

  18. Have not heard or seen any new additions to the team. I don't believe that we are adding any more players to 01's at this time. With all of the homegrown Sereno players leaving the team because the lack of minutes. What does that say about Sereno's programs?

    It's simple really,
    Addition by Subtraction.

Yes either additional $ from the remaining parents or Sereno will bring up another 02.
